Trioworld is a leader in plastic packaging solutions with a compelling mission to become the forerunner in leading the industry into circularity. The current and rapidly changing socio-economic-political environment, the context of the digital economy and the transformation growth plans require Trioworld’s leaders to be well equipped to lead renewal and transform the business through people.
The programme was co-designed and launched in autumn 2023, and delivered in 2024.

Trioworld identified a clear need to strengthen leadership capabilities in communication, influence, and cross-functional collaboration—especially within a matrix environment.
To address this, Henley and Trioworld designed a programme to develop Trioworld’s future leaders into ambassadors of change and make them feel like forerunners of their industry—people who would not only lead the way forward but also communicate that vision effectively across their organisation.
The key objectives were to enhance participants’ ability to influence in diverse contexts, lead across functions, and grow as self-aware, responsible leaders capable of shaping the company’s culture and future.
In cooperation with Trioworld executive committee and board representatives, Henley designed a development journey that addresses Trioworld’s current business challenges by using experimental learning and developing elements that are relevant for leaders in continuously changing business environment: freedom to fail, brave leadership and influencing for transformation. The programme was designed to bring impact on a personal, team, organisational and even sectoral level.
Participants experienced a dynamic, international learning journey through a combination of residential modules and virtual masterclasses. The in-person workshops took place in Malmö (Sweden), Henley-on-Thames (UK), and Amsterdam (Netherlands), bringing to life rich and diverse learning environments.

The impact of the programme was measured on personal, team, organisational, and sectoral levels through an impact evaluation that was conducted six months after the end of the programme. The results speak for themselves.

One concrete example of the programme’s impact is that 4 out of 17 participants were promoted to more senior positions within six months of completing the training.
