Sustainable Business Scholarship

At Henley Business School Nordic, we are proud to introduce the Sustainable Business Scholarship. A new initiative designed to support individuals who are committed to driving sustainable change in business.

As part of the University of Reading, named Sustainable University of the Year 2025, Henley Business School shares a strong legacy of action-driven research and education for a more resilient, sustainable future.

We are offering a scholarship covering 40% of the full Executive MBA - Global Fee (valued at €20,000), supporting a wider pool of high-potential professionals who incorporate sustainability holistically in their business practices and decision-making.

Who can take part?

This scholarship is open to Executive MBA applicants from the Nordic region who can clearly articulate their vision for advancing sustainability in business, policy, or community. If you are a purpose-driven leader ready to make a difference, we invite you to join us.

To be eligible to apply for this scholarship, you must work in an area relevant to or demonstrate an influence in the following activities:

Environmental sustainability

Societal sustainability/social impact/social enterprise

Governance and financial sustainability impact

Micro-sustainability impact, capturing practices affecting the well-being of people and quality work

Sustainability ethic

Candidates do not need to hold an offer on the Executive MBA - Global programme before applying for the scholarship, but they are expected to have checked their eligibility to the programme.

How to apply?

To apply for this scholarship, candidates are required to write an 800-word piece answering the question,

"How should an organisation address its social responsibilities toward customers, shareholders, employees, and the community as part of its commitment to the 'triple bottom line?”

In addition to sharing your insights and analysis, please reference a specific business case study that exemplifies an organisation successfully implementing this approach.

Essays should be submitted using the application form available on this site.
