With a PhD in Biochemistry, Sari Mannonen is SVP of New Business & Hydrogen at Helen and Board Member at Neste. She currently leads the New Business & Hydrogen business unit at Helen, one of Finland’s largest energy companies, where she drives strategic growth, heads the Hydrogen Business Unit, and leads foresight and RDI initiatives in future technologies.
Sari has extensive experience in sustainability, having worked on projects spanning sustainable energy systems, regional renewable energy, smart housing technology solutions, solar energy, and electric mobility. With a background rooted in the Nordics, a region widely recognised as a global leader in sustainability, she contributes a strong regional perspective to the global Advisory Board.
She has also taken part in several Henley leadership programmes and personal coaching, applying these insights in her role on the Advisory Board and sharing Nordic perspectives on leadership and sustainability.
The Advisory Board provides a forum for senior leaders and professionals, external to the Henley Business School, to advise and support the Dean and other members of Henley’s senior leadership team in matters of global strategy, and to bring their professional and industry expertise and network of connections to assist the development of Henley Business School. Members of the Advisory Board are typically appointed for a three-year term.
